Marc has also been a professional classical musician, performing at Lincoln Center on lute and classical guitar, and he has acted on Broadway (in Cyrano, starring Christopher Plummer at the Palace Theater in 1974).
Marc holds a B.A. from Oberlin College, cum laude, and Master’s degrees in teaching (from Yale), language (from Middlebury) and business (from The Harvard Business School, with distinction.)
Marc is a native New Yorker. He currently lives in Manhattan with his wife, a Japanese writer, and their son, a rising third-grader in the New York City public schools.
